WHAT WE DELIVER

Six workstreams, run end-to-end.

Sponsorship acquisition is not a phone-call favour. It's a structured workstream — with a target list, a positioning story, a commercial ask, negotiation, and an activation plan that has to deliver value back to the sponsor. We run all six.

/ 01

Sponsor targeting + tier design

We build the target-sponsor list from your event's audience overlap with active brand marketing budgets. Then we tier the ask — title sponsor, headline sponsors, category sponsors, in-kind partners — with a clear commercial value per tier.

  • Audience overlap analysis vs brand ICPs
  • Sponsor tiering with per-tier commercial ask
  • Category exclusivity mapping
  • Prior-year sponsor benchmarking
/ 02

Sponsorship deck + pitch materials

The one-page teaser, the full 30-slide deck, the tier-by-tier value proposition, and the objection-handling FAQ. Written to what a brand's CMO / marketing director actually evaluates a sponsorship request against.

  • Executive one-pager (sent first)
  • Full sponsorship deck (per tier)
  • Audience + reach data pack
  • ROI-modelling worksheet
/ 03

Sponsor outreach + relationship management

Structured outreach — executive introductions where our production network opens the door, full cold-outreach sequences on the rest of the list. Every prospect handled by a named account lead — no generic mass-email to marketing@ inboxes.

  • Executive introductions where the network opens the door
  • Full outreach sequences on gap targets
  • Named-account owner per prospect
  • Weekly progress report to your team
/ 04

Contract negotiation + close

Term sheet drafting, commercial negotiation, activation-scope agreement, exclusivity terms, and contract paperwork. We negotiate against the tier commercial value we set at the start — no fire-sale discounts on your inventory.

  • Term-sheet drafting
  • Commercial + activation negotiation
  • Exclusivity + non-compete terms
  • Contract paperwork through legal
/ 05

On-site activation delivery

The sponsorship inventory the sponsor bought — branded backdrops, activation booths, hosted lounges, on-stage moments, digital signage, delegate touchpoints — produced and executed on the day. Delivered by the production team that built Darb's reputation.

  • Branded environments production
  • Activation booth build (via Darb Factory)
  • On-stage moment choreography
  • Digital + delegate touchpoint execution
/ 06

Post-event sponsor reporting

Every sponsor gets a post-event report: audience reached, activation engagement metrics, media coverage, social pickup, and next-year renewal recommendation. Designed to turn a one-time sponsor into a multi-year partner.

  • Per-sponsor reach + engagement report
  • Media + social coverage compilation
  • Photo + video asset delivery
  • Renewal + upgrade recommendation
WHY DARB

Why route sponsorship through our team.

Three reasons this offering makes sense coming from a production house — not from a sponsorship boutique.

/ 01

Production capability that closes the loop

Most sponsorship agencies pitch and hand off. We pitch AND execute the activation the sponsor buys — the branded backdrop, the booth, the on-stage moment — because production has been Darb's core business for over a decade. Sponsors renew when their activation delivers; ours does.

/ 02

Brand-side context, not just a Rolodex

We work with major regional brands as their production partner — we sit with their marketing teams every week. That's the perspective that lets us design sponsorship inventory brands actually value, not the inventory that only looks good on a deck.

/ 03

Commercial discipline from day one

Amateur sponsorship sales close a first-year sponsor at half the tier's real value and lock in exclusivity for a decade. We approach sponsorship with proper commercial structure — tier pricing anchored to value, exclusivity terms drafted per-tier, renewal options preserved. The paperwork side that protects both sides.

EVENTS WE FUND

Sponsorship programs that run through us.

Whichever event type — the sponsorship workstream is the same, only the target-brand mix and the pitch positioning change per category.

Corporate conferences + summits

Multi-day industry conferences where sponsor packages need to justify a five- or six-figure spend to a marketing director — audience data, category exclusivity, and executive-visibility inventory.

Product launches + brand activations

Launches where co-marketing sponsors extend reach beyond the host brand's own audience — partnered activation, joint media pushes, and delegate-list sharing.

Gala dinners + award nights

Charitable + industry-award galas where sponsor tiers align with visibility inventory — table sponsorships, award-category sponsorships, and hospitality partners.

Sports + entertainment events

Sports tournaments, cultural events, and entertainment programs — where sponsor inventory is fan-facing (broadcast integration, on-venue branding, athlete access) and the ROI story is media reach.

Non-profit + foundation events

Non-profit fundraisers where the sponsorship narrative is CSR alignment + impact reporting. Different pitch positioning, same workstream.

Government + semi-government events

National-day programs, sector summits, and government-organized events where sponsor selection has to meet the host entity's approved-sponsor criteria — we handle both the sponsorship acquisition AND the approval process.

HOW IT WORKS

From brief to signed sponsors — in one workflow.

Sponsorship cycles run predictably when the workstream is structured. Here's what happens after your brief lands with us.

/ 01

Event brief + fit workshop

60-minute workshop to lock the audience profile, the event's commercial size, the sponsorship tier structure, and the target-brand list. Output: signed brief, ready to go to market.

/ 02

Pitch materials + target list

One-pager + full deck produced in 5-7 working days. Target-sponsor list finalised in parallel, prioritised by fit + relationship warmth.

/ 03

Outreach + qualification

Warm intros land first; cold outreach on gap targets follows. Weekly progress report on prospects opened, meetings booked, and term-sheet stage.

/ 04

Negotiation + close

Term sheets, commercial negotiation, and contract paperwork. Signed sponsors move into activation planning as they close, not all at the end.

/ 05

Activation production + on-site delivery

The sponsor inventory sold is now produced and executed. Branded environments, activation booths, on-stage moments, digital and delegate touchpoints — all delivered on event day.

/ 06

Post-event sponsor reports + renewal setup

Every sponsor gets their reach + engagement report within two weeks of the event. Renewal conversations start immediately — a signed sponsor at Year 1 is a 3-year sponsor if renewal is worked properly.

BEFORE YOU BRIEF

Sponsorship questions answered.

How is the fee structured — retainer, commission, or both?

Hybrid. A modest retainer covers the workstream setup (audience research, pitch deck, list build, outreach infrastructure). A success fee scales with sponsorship revenue closed — so our incentive is aligned with your outcome. Full commission-only is available for later-stage events with proven traction; retainer-plus-success is the default.

How long does a full sponsorship cycle take?

12-16 weeks for a first-time program is a realistic scope. Faster where our production network opens the door to an executive introduction; longer for full cold outreach on a wider list. For annual events, Year 2 typically moves faster because the target list is already validated and renewal conversations start on event day.

What kind of sponsorship revenue is realistic for our event?

Depends on audience quality, event category, and how commercial the ask is. Corporate conferences with senior decision-maker audiences sit at the upper end, galas and industry awards in the middle, non-profit programs vary widely with cause resonance. We size the range at the brief workshop against comparable events — grounded in the actual sponsor market for your category, not a wishful number.

Do you sell exclusivity to sponsors — or keep the door open to competitors?

Depends on the tier. Title-sponsor exclusivity is almost always sold — that's what makes the tier worth what it's worth. Headline sponsors usually get category exclusivity (only one telecom, only one bank). Below that, we keep the door open for the next-tier competitor. All negotiated per event.

Can you run sponsorship for a non-profit or foundation event at a lower fee?

Yes. Non-profit sponsorship pricing has a discounted retainer and a lower success-fee percentage — because sponsor conversations for a cause are different (CSR narrative, impact reporting) and require different creative + positioning work. Discuss at brief workshop.

Do you handle sponsor approvals for government-organized events?

Yes — the approval process for who can sponsor a government-organized event is often more restrictive than the sponsorship market itself. We handle both: shortlist candidate sponsors, submit them through the host entity's approval process, and only take the approved list to term-sheet stage. Avoids wasted commercial work on sponsors who wouldn't have cleared approval anyway.

Have an event that needs sponsors? Send us the brief.

Tell us the event, the date, the audience, and the sponsorship revenue you need. We come back within one business day with a realistic revenue range, a target-sponsor list preview, and a proposed engagement structure.
