QUESTIONS
What clinic directors
ask before signing.
The questions we actually field on intro calls. If yours isn't here, write to us — we'll answer honestly.
/ 01How is healthcare marketing different from regular marketing?+
Three big things. (1) Compliance — Google, Meta, Snapchat, and the Saudi MOH all have specific restrictions on what medical ads can claim, show, and target. We've built playbooks for each platform. (2) Trust — patients don't 'try' a clinic the way they try a restaurant; reputation and reviews matter far more than discounts. (3) The funnel is longer — between the first search and the booked appointment there are 3–7 trust-building touchpoints we have to engineer.
/ 02Do you work with clinics or only with hospitals?+
Both. Our Sprint tier is built for single clinics validating one channel. Engine fits multi-branch clinics. Partner is for hospitals and clinic groups. The system scales — what doesn't scale is which agency you hire when you outgrow them.
/ 03Can you guarantee a specific number of bookings?+
No reputable agency can — and any agency that promises specific bookings before seeing your funnel is a red flag. What we DO commit to: a cost-per-qualified-lead target (with a 30-day refund if we miss it on Sprint), monthly performance reports with attribution, and full transparency on ad spend.
/ 04How do you handle MOH compliance for medical advertising?+
Our creative goes through a 3-stage review: internal compliance check (we know what each platform allows), MOH classification (we flag claims that need clearance), and clinic-leadership approval. We've never had an ad rejected for compliance in 12 months.
/ 05What's the typical cost per new patient?+
Varies hugely by specialty — dental cleaning leads cost 50–150 SAR, cosmetic surgery consultations 800–2,500 SAR, IVF inquiries 1,500–4,000 SAR. The economics work because patient lifetime values are also much higher. We'll model your specialty in the discovery call.
/ 06Do you work in Arabic only, English only, or both?+
Both, always. The Saudi patient journey is bilingual — search queries in Arabic, booking forms in either, WhatsApp in Arabic, follow-up emails in either. Every campaign we run is built bilingually from day one, not 'translated later'.
/ 07Can you integrate with our existing clinic management software?+
Yes — we integrate with Salla, Mostaql, Vezeeta, ClinikNote, NextGen, and most major clinic management systems. We need an API token or webhook endpoint; setup typically takes 2–5 days.
/ 08What if our reviews are already bad?+
Common starting point. We don't fake reviews — we run a 90-day reputation rehab: response strategy for existing negative reviews, automated request flow for satisfied patients (SMS + WhatsApp), and a content engine that shows operational improvements publicly. Most clinics move from 3.5★ to 4.5★+ within 4 months.
/ 09How do we know if Darb is the right agency for us?+
Book a 30-minute discovery call. We'll audit your current marketing live, give you 3 actionable improvements regardless of whether you hire us, and tell you honestly whether your stage / budget / goals match our service. No deck pitches.
/ 010Is there a minimum commitment?+
Sprint is a 4-week engagement. Engine is 90 days (so the data is statistically meaningful). Partner is a 12-month annual commitment with quarterly reviews. We don't lock you in beyond that — but we've yet to see a clinic graduate from Engine and not renew.
