WHAT WE PRODUCE

Six production lines, under one Riyadh roof.

A film production company that runs every craft in-house — because production is what breaks when a single third-party vendor misses a deadline. Every service below is delivered by our own team, on our own equipment, from our own Riyadh studio.

/ 01

Corporate + brand film production

Brand films, company profile films, executive interview series, internal comms reels, and event-recap films for Saudi enterprises and international brands operating in-Kingdom. Cinema-grade craft on a corporate brief.

  • Brand + company profile films
  • Executive interviews
  • Internal comms production
  • Corporate event recaps
/ 02

TVC + advertising production

TVCs, digital pre-roll, OOH motion, radio spots, and performance-creative production — produced to broadcast spec, delivered ready for air. Concept through final master under one project manager.

  • TVCs (15s / 30s / 60s)
  • Digital + social-native cuts
  • OOH motion + stills
  • 360° brand campaigns
/ 03

Documentary + long-form film

Long-form documentary production for corporate, government, and cultural clients — sector documentaries, national-day films, project-completion films, and heritage-preservation work. Editorial-grade craft.

  • Corporate + sector documentaries
  • Cultural + heritage films
  • National-day + government films
  • Project-completion documentaries
/ 04

Event coverage + live production

Multi-camera event coverage, live-streaming, event-recap edits, on-stage capture, and same-day social cuts — for conferences, product launches, brand activations, and government-hosted events.

  • Multi-camera event coverage
  • Live-streaming production
  • Same-day social cuts
  • On-stage capture + speaker reels
/ 05

Photography + still-image production

Corporate event photography, executive portraits, product photography, real-estate stills, and brand-campaign imagery. Same crew, same colour pipeline as the video work — matched visual language across every asset.

  • Corporate event photography
  • Executive portraits
  • Product + real-estate stills
  • Brand campaign imagery
/ 06

Post-production + finishing

Edit, colour, motion graphics, sound design, voice-over, and finishing — for our own productions and for external agencies bringing footage to Riyadh for post. Same finishing pipeline as broadcast delivery.

  • Edit + assembly
  • Cinematic colour grade
  • Motion graphics + VFX
  • Sound design + voice-over
WHY DARB

Why enterprise clients route production through Darb.

Three reasons the same production house serves the biggest Saudi enterprises, government entities, and international brands operating in-Kingdom.

/ 01

Every craft in-house — no third-party breakage

Direction, cinematography, edit, colour, motion, sound, voice-over — all on our own team, in our own studio. When a Saudi enterprise brief runs into a deadline, we don't wait on a subcontracted colourist in another timezone. One team owns the whole pipeline.

/ 02

14 years of Saudi-market context

We've been producing in the Saudi market since 2012. The cultural fluency, the government-liaison experience, the enterprise-client relationships, the Riyadh production-crew network — none of it can be imported by a foreign production company parachuting in for a project.

/ 03

Bilingual by default, not by translation

Every project is directed, scripted, and edited in Arabic and English in parallel. Both cuts are native to their audience — because we scripted in both, not because we translated one into the other.

WHO WE PRODUCE FOR

The clients who brief a full-service production house.

Whichever client type — the pipeline is the same, only the direction and delivery cadence change per engagement.

Saudi enterprises + listed companies

PIF-affiliates, listed enterprises, and Saudi-headquartered corporates producing brand films, TVCs, and IR content. Executive-grade production, IR-ready delivery, full framework-agreement engagement models.

Government + semi-government entities

Ministries, public bodies, and semi-government developers producing sector documentaries, national-day programming, and public-communications films. Bilingual editorial and archive-grade delivery from day one.

International brands operating in-Kingdom

Multinationals with a Saudi marketing calendar — TVCs shot in-country, brand films for the local audience, launch coverage for regional headquarters. Global standards, local execution.

Creative + media agencies

Agencies subcontracting execution — production, shoot, and post — for brand and TVC work they've won. White-label engagement, agency reporting cadence, agency-side confidentiality.

International productions shooting in Saudi

Foreign film crews, documentary teams, and TVC productions shooting in Saudi Arabia — production services, permits, locations, casting, catering, and equipment. See our dedicated film-fixer service page for details.

Family businesses + holding groups

Multi-generational Saudi family businesses producing profile films, legacy documentaries, and next-generation-launch films. Editorial nuance, respect for legacy, contemporary production values.

HOW IT WORKS

From brief to final delivery.

Production runs predictably when the pipeline is disciplined. Here's what happens after your brief lands.

/ 01

Brief + scope workshop

90-minute workshop to lock the objective, the audience, the deliverables, the delivery date, and the budget frame. Output: signed scope document, in both languages, that everyone works from.

/ 02

Treatment + creative direction

Written treatment, visual references, and creative direction. Approved before pre-production spends a day on location scouting or casting. Turnaround: 5-10 working days depending on scope.

/ 03

Pre-production + shoot planning

Casting, location scouting, permits, shoot schedule, and crew booking. Everything a shoot day needs, locked before the shoot day arrives. No last-minute surprises.

/ 04

Production days

Shoot days executed on your calendar. Cinema-grade cameras, broadcast lighting, professional sound, and a full production crew. Daily rushes shared with you for progressive approval, not batch-at-the-end.

/ 05

Post-production

Edit, colour, motion graphics, sound design, voice-over, and mix — all in-house. First cut delivered inside 2-3 weeks depending on scope. Two rounds of client review included; further rounds scoped as needed.

/ 06

Delivery + asset library

Final masters delivered in every spec you need — broadcast, cinema, web, social, and archive. Delivered as an organised asset library that your team can deploy without hunting through folders.

BEFORE YOU BRIEF

Production services questions answered.

What does 'full-service production house' actually cover?

Every stage of the film-making pipeline under one roof. Direction, script, casting, location scouting, permits, shoot day (camera, lighting, sound, crew), edit, colour, motion graphics, sound design, voice-over, and delivery. If your project needs any of those, we do them in-house — not through subcontractors.

Do you work with agencies as a white-label production partner?

Yes. A meaningful share of our work comes from Saudi and regional agencies subcontracting production for TVCs, brand films, and content series. White-label engagement, agency reporting cadence, and full confidentiality — the client-facing brand is the agency's, not ours.

What kinds of engagement models do you offer?

Project-based, retainer-based, and framework-agreement engagements. Framework agreements are increasingly the model of choice for enterprise and government clients — pre-negotiated rate card, pre-approved SOWs, faster mobilisation, better commercial terms. See our dedicated framework-agreements page.

How fast can you mobilise for an urgent project?

For existing framework clients, 48-72 hours from brief to shoot day is realistic. For new clients, first shoot typically lands 2-3 weeks from brief — the delay is mostly commercial (contract, PO) and creative (treatment, direction), not production capacity.

Do you own your own equipment, or do you rent?

Both. Core kit — cinema cameras, primary lenses, lighting workhorses, sound rigs — is in-house. Specialised gear (motion-control rigs, high-speed cameras, specific cine lenses for a look) is rented per project. This is standard for Riyadh production; owning everything would be uneconomic and would leave us with dated equipment.

Do you handle drone / aerial for productions?

Yes, in-house. GACA-licensed pilots, professional aerial cinema drones, and all permits managed on our side. Aerial footage is a standard part of our production capability, not a subcontracted add-on.

Can you handle full post-production for footage we shot elsewhere?

Yes. Post-production as a standalone service — edit, colour, motion, sound, voice-over, and finishing — for agencies and production companies bringing footage to Riyadh for post. Same finishing pipeline as our end-to-end productions.

What does a full production actually cost?

Depends entirely on scope — a single-day corporate shoot with a 90-second edit sits at one end; a multi-day TVC and a months-long documentary sit at the other. The variables that move the number are shoot days, location count, crew size, and post-production scope. We give you a fixed quote at the brief workshop against the specific scope — no per-day billing after.

Have a brief? We respond in 24 hours.

Tell us the objective, the audience, the deliverables, and the delivery date. We come back within one business day with a scope, a treatment direction, and a fixed quote against the brief.
