Availability + quote
Send the shoot date, the set you need (cyc, green, black-out, LED, podcast, control room), and duration. We come back within 4 working hours with availability and a quote for studio-only or crew-included configuration.
Booking confirmation
Booking confirmed, deposit invoiced (30% standard), and studio locked in your calendar. Any set-specific prep (cyc repaint, LED content upload, podcast desk setup) scheduled to complete before shoot day.
Load-in + setup
Ground-level load-in from dedicated parking. Setup time included in the booking window; if your production needs an early load-in, we scope it into the quote.
Shoot day
You shoot on schedule. If you booked crew-included, our team runs camera, lighting, audio, and directing. If you booked studio-only, our facility manager is on standby for equipment questions or emergency rigging.
Load-out + file transfer
Load-out at end of booked window. If you shot on our kit, files transferred to encrypted drive at wrap or uploaded to secure cloud within 24 hours.
Optional post-production
If you want to edit at Darb, our post-production suites are on the same premises — colour, edit, motion, sound design, voice-over. Same shoot day can walk out with a rough cut if the deadline is tight.

Can we rent the studio alone, or do we have to use your crew?
Both options work. Studio-only rental is available for production teams with their own crew and kit — you get the space, the sets, the power, the parking, and a facility manager on standby. Crew-included rental gives you our camera team, lighting, sound, and directing on top of the space. Most bookings land somewhere in between — studio + operator + a few key crew.
How is the rental priced — hourly, half-day, day?
Half-day and full-day are the standard blocks. Hourly billing is available on the podcast studio and LED wall corner for short recordings (under 2 hours) — everywhere else, a half-day is the minimum booking. Weekly and monthly rates for productions that need the studio across a longer window. Fixed quote at booking, no per-hour surprises.
What sets are available in the studio?
White cyclorama, green screen (blue on request), black-out interview set, LED wall corner, podcast studio, and a multi-camera control room. Set-specific prep (cyc repaint, LED content upload, podcast desk configuration) is scheduled between bookings so every renter gets a fresh set.
Is the equipment included, or is that a separate rental?
Base studio rental includes power, air-conditioning, standard lighting rigs, and the shoot infrastructure (cyc, LED, podcast desks, control room). Cinema-camera kit, specialised lenses, wireless audio packages, and grip are quoted per-project when needed. Most productions book the studio + a kit package as one line.
Do you have parking? What about load-in for large kit?
Dedicated parking on-site for the shoot crew and client. Ground-level load-in from the parking area to the studio; freight-elevator access for the second-floor edit suites if your team needs it. No permission needed from a building manager, no scheduling around a lobby move-in window.
How much notice do you need to book?
Same-week booking is realistic for standard shoots (interview, podcast, small-scale product). Multi-day productions and specialised sets (LED wall, control room + streaming rig) fill earlier — book 2-3 weeks out for those. Peak weeks (national days, big-event calendar dates) fill first; book earlier for those windows.
Can we bring our own catering and craft services?
Yes. On-site kitchen and lounge area for crew meals; you're welcome to bring your own catering or use ours. Prayer space available. Long shoot days almost always benefit from proper meal breaks — plan them into the shoot schedule.
Do you offer NDA-protected bookings for pre-launch productions?
Yes. Pre-launch products under NDA — new phone launches, undisclosed campaign shoots, embargoed government-linked content — booked with restricted studio access, no external staff on premises during the shoot, and files delivered on encrypted transfer only.
