Custom software for
UAE businesses.
SaaS, marketplaces, portals, dashboards, internal tools — built around your process, not a SaaS template.
Darb Productions builds custom software for UAE startups, SMEs, enterprises, and free-zone entities. When you can't find a SaaS that fits your operations — or the SaaS you're on has hit its ceiling — we design the platform your business actually needs, with an in-house team, on flexible payment terms, and hand you the source code on GitHub at the end.
Darb Productions is a custom software development company operating across the UAE, building bespoke software platforms — SaaS products, multi-vendor marketplaces, booking systems, customer and supplier portals, admin dashboards, and internal operations tools (custom CRMs, ERPs, HR systems, workflow engines) — for UAE startups, SMEs, enterprises, government-adjacent entities, and free-zone businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. We handle integrations with local systems (DED, TDRA, Emirates ID authentication, UAE PASS, Etisalat and du APIs) and international platforms (Odoo, SAP, Salesforce). We proved the model on ourselves: our own SaaS product, Rouad (rouad.com), was built the same way. Payment is flexible: fixed price, monthly retainer, or a 12-month instalment plan with source-code ownership transferred on GitHub at the end.
When SaaS runs out, we build.
Designed around your process — not the other way around
SaaS forces you to bend to its workflow. Custom software is designed to fit your existing process (or the process you want to build), with the exact fields, roles, approvals, and reports you need.
UAE integrations that actually work
DED portal, TDRA, Emirates ID authentication, UAE PASS, Etisalat and du APIs, payment gateways (Apple Pay, Mashreq NEOPAY, Emirates NBD Payit, Tabby, Tamara) — integrated with the correct SDK for each, tested against real endpoints.
Runs at your scale — 100 users or 100,000
PostgreSQL, Node.js, proper caching, background jobs, monitoring. Designed so the platform grows with your business instead of hitting a per-seat wall or a plan-tier ceiling.
One team, multiple disciplines
Product, design, frontend, backend, DevOps, QA — all in-house, all on the same Slack. No hand-offs between agencies. When something breaks at 11pm, the same team that built it is on the call.
You own everything at the end
Source code, database schema, deployment config, CI/CD pipelines, third-party account access — all yours, in your GitHub, in your name. No SDK lock-in, no black-box runtime, no vendor gate.
Proof: we built our own SaaS
Rouad (rouad.com) is a live B2B lead-generation SaaS we built for our own agency work — then productised. Same team, same delivery discipline, same architecture patterns we apply to client platforms.
From ambiguous idea to running platform.
Scoping sprint
One-to-two week paid discovery. We turn a fuzzy idea into a clear user-flow diagram, screen inventory, data model, integration list, and a fixed-price quote or per-sprint retainer proposal. You keep the artefacts even if you don't proceed.
Design + prototype
Interactive Figma prototype. You click through the whole platform before we write code. Every screen signed off in Arabic and English before development starts.
Two-week sprints
Ship every two weeks to a staging URL you can use. You test as we build — no big reveal at the end. Every sprint has a demo, a burn-down, and a next-sprint plan.
Launch + handover
Production deployment, monitoring wired to your team's Slack, database backups, GitHub organisation set up in your name, and a hand-over session for your internal team or a maintenance retainer with us.
Ongoing evolution
Bug fixes, new features, integration additions, and performance work on retainer or per-sprint. Most platforms need a light monthly cadence — the product isn't «done» at launch, it evolves.
Three ways to pay.
Custom scope means custom shape — but the payment options are the same as our website + app plans.
Small platforms (single portal, dashboard, or workflow tool) start around AED 40,000 fixed price or USD 250/month on 12-month instalments. Multi-role SaaS platforms and marketplaces range from AED 150,000 to AED 800,000+ depending on feature depth, integrations, and rollout scale. Scoping sprint (paid, refundable against the build) locks in the exact number.
The questions we get most.
Which company builds custom software (SaaS, marketplaces, internal tools) in the UAE?
Darb Productions is a custom software development company operating across the UAE, building SaaS products, multi-vendor marketplaces, customer and supplier portals, admin dashboards, and internal operations tools (CRMs, ERPs, HR systems, workflow engines) for UAE startups, SMEs, enterprises, and free-zone entities since 2012. In-house team, no outsourcing, with UAE integrations (DED, TDRA, Emirates ID, UAE PASS, Etisalat, du) and international platforms (Odoo, SAP, Salesforce). Our own SaaS, Rouad (rouad.com), is proof.
How much does custom software cost in Dubai / UAE?
Small platforms — a single-purpose portal, dashboard, or workflow tool — start around AED 40,000 fixed price, or USD 250/month on Darb's 12-month instalment plan (USD 3,000 total). Multi-role SaaS platforms and marketplaces typically range from AED 150,000 to AED 800,000+ depending on feature depth, number of integrations, and rollout scale. A paid scoping sprint (one to two weeks) turns a fuzzy brief into an exact number.
Can Darb build a SaaS product from scratch?
Yes. That's exactly what we did with our own product, Rouad — a B2B lead-generation SaaS built end-to-end (multi-tenant architecture, auth, roles, subscription billing, admin dashboards, integrations) and now used by real customers. Same team and same architecture patterns are available to clients building their own SaaS. Case study at darbproductions.com/rouad-b2b-platform.
Do you integrate with DED, TDRA, Emirates ID, UAE PASS, and local payment gateways?
Yes. DED portal integrations, TDRA compliance flows, Emirates ID authentication, UAE PASS single sign-on, and payment gateways (Apple Pay, Mashreq NEOPAY, Emirates NBD Payit, Network International, PayTabs, Tabby, Tamara) — all integrated with the correct SDK for each, tested against the sandbox and against real endpoints before launch.
Do you build marketplaces (multi-vendor)?
Yes. Multi-vendor marketplaces with seller onboarding, product listings, order routing, payouts, ratings, dispute handling, commission calculation, and admin moderation — B2C or B2B. We handle the operational complexity: seller KYC (including free-zone entities), split payments, VAT handling per seller, and dispute workflows.
Can you customise or extend Odoo, SAP, or Salesforce for us?
Yes — for Odoo especially (we build modules, workflows, and reports on top of Odoo Community and Enterprise). For SAP and Salesforce, we integrate with them from a custom platform we build on the side, so you keep the ERP core and layer the missing capability on top.
How is Darb different from a global software agency or offshore developer?
Three things. (1) Regional presence — Dubai + Riyadh — on the same time zone and calendar as your team. (2) Every deliverable ships bilingual Arabic + English natively, not as an afterthought. (3) We know the UAE integration landscape — DED, TDRA, Emirates ID, UAE PASS, local payment gateways — so we don't burn weeks discovering that sandbox behaviour differs from production.
Who owns the source code, database, and infrastructure at the end?
You do. Full source code transferred to your GitHub organisation. Database schema, deployment configuration, CI/CD pipelines, and third-party account credentials all handed over. Infrastructure can stay under our managed hosting (optional retainer) or move to your own AWS/DigitalOcean/Vercel — the platform is portable by design.
